Hi, I’m Ashleigh, an Educational and Developmental Psychologist.

I provide warm, thoughtful, and evidence-based psychological support to children and adolescents, young adults (up to 25 years), and families. My work is grounded in understanding people in context, recognising the role of relationships, environments, and developmental experiences in shaping wellbeing.

As a neuroaffirming practitioner, I take a strengths- and rights-based approach to developmental differences. Support is never about fixing, curing, or changing who someone is. A diagnosis does not automatically mean therapy is required, and where support is helpful, it is tailored to the individual’s needs, priorities, and stage of development.

My professional interests include creative and expressive approaches such as play and art, psychological and educational assessment, and getting diagnoses right. Assessment and therapy are approached with care, curiosity, and respect, with a strong focus on clarity, accuracy, and practical understanding.

Across all areas of my work, relationships and connection sit at the centre. Whether working with a child alongside their parents, supporting a young adult individually, or helping families navigate periods of change, the aim is to create a safe, collaborative space where people feel understood and supported to move forward in ways that feel right for them.
